WHY 40 DAYS
Our 40 days of purpose centers around the Jewish New Year and high holy
days
The Type of
consecration and Fast that we have chosen, is the Partial Fast and 21 Day Daniel
Fast. We believe God for Supernatural Transformation and Increase, both in the
lives of our Church and in the lives of our members.

“40 Days of Purpose is
all about the
Kingdom
of
God,
fulfilling his agenda in His world. Nothing brings more glory to God than having
his churches, small groups, and his people fulfilling His Purposes. Because 40
Days of Purpose is about God's Kingdom, it is much bigger than any individual,
church or denomination. We must work together "to serve God's purpose in our
generation." (Acts. 13:36)
"Forty denotes a period of preparation for some special action of the
Lord; it is a time of grace. After the flood in Genesis, a new creation begins.
After Moses converses with God, the covenant is renewed. After
Israel's
wandering in the wilderness, they will enter into the Promised Land. After
Elijah's journey, God strengthens him to resume his prophetic ministry. After
Jesus' temptation, he begins his public ministry; after the Ascension, we enter
the age of the Church.”

CONSECRATION:
Consecration is the act of setting apart any thing
or person unto the service of the Lord. In the case of fasting, we choose to set
apart ourselves from food or drink. God wants to sanctify us wholly ? in body,
soul and spirit. By His grace, He provides food to us for enjoyment, sustenance,
fellowship and worship. By fasting, we
voluntarily deny the privilege of partaking of these blessings for the higher
purpose of seeking to commune with God. Biblical fasting is not done as a
physical discipline, a manipulative tool to get God to do our will, or a
hypocritical religious exercise. Proper fasting is combined with prayer to seek
a right way for ourselves, our children, and our substance!!!

We at

decree and declare that something of a enormous proportion is going to happen
during the 40 days. We will see and experience Miracles, Manifestations, Signs
and Wonders. We also declare that a great fire of revival will be ushered into
the Northeast and
New England.
