Pastor Kenneth R Smith also known as Pastor Ken, a native of Jamaica who grew up in Bridgeport CT, received Christ and the gift of the Holy Spirit and has been walking with Christ in various capacities for 25 years.

1978-1986: Member of Gethsemane Church of Christ Bridgeport, CT under the leadership of Rev. Jenkins.  

1986-1992: Member of Fellowship Temple Church Bridgeport, CT of Rev. John Loyd Sr and called into ministry February 1990.

1992-2005: Member of Calvary Temple Church Bridgeport, CT Bishop-elect John R. Thompson where he served faithfully in many capacities from Assistant Pastor, Spiritual Director, Teacher, Preacher, Church Administration, Men’s President, Technology, to President of Pastor’s Aid.

Pastor Ken is happily married to his wife Lisa since March 1987. Lisa received Christ and the gift of the Holy Spirit, and has been walking with Christ for 30 years. They were both born in the same month (August 3^rd and 5^th) and same year (1966).

They are blessed with three beautiful daughters, Kristina 20 (attends Culinary Collage), Leondra 18 (Southern CT University), and Kendel 15 (Stratford High). He is a family man who loves and takes care of the precious gems God entrusted him. 

June 2005: Everything new begins with a seed. God planted in the heart of Pastor Ken and Lisa a vision for a church that teaches people a practical approach to serving Christ and life-changing principles of the Bible. Out of obedience to God and their passion to serve and share God's unconditional love for people, they answered the call to Pastor. They planted Kingdom Builders Ministries in Fairfield, CT at the Fairfield Inn Fairfield CT.

November 2006: Kingdom Builders moved to a large sanctuary on 126 Davis Avenue in Bridgeport.

He is a business visionary, Entrepreneur, Motivator who has a great passion for equipping people into becoming great leaders by maximizing their God given gifts.

He believes in teaching a simplistic approach to the Gospel of Christ such that a young child would understand. He challenges the individual to get the most out of life by seeking out their purpose in life. His teachings boost individual confidence; empowers and encourages people to take on more responsibility within their families, church and community. Pastor Ken is determined in not having church as usual.

While labors full time in the ministry, he also works full time as an Information Technology Incident Manager, as well managing business as Co/Owner and CEO of Kingdom Resource Services www.krsglobal.com, provider of Technology solutions, graphic design, web development, and a supplier of church solutions. 

In April 2007, Pastor Ken and Kingdom Builders received a mandate from God to call for Revival in the Northeast Region consisting of 12 States www.northeastrevival.com. Pastor Ken is also mobilizing 1200 believers to pray round the clock 24hrs a day for Revival.  God also instructed Pastor Ken to call for Pastors and Churches to come together mobilize and merge their resources to do a greater work in the Kingdom.

On March 2^nd 2008 Pastor Ken obeyed the voice of the Lord and officially merged Kingdom Builders with Gethsemane Church of Deliverance to form one vibrant united church. The merged churches now operates under the new name of United Kingdom International Ministries located in Bridgeport, CT.
