What makes UKIM different ... ?

[You may have noticed that United Kingdom is a church unlike any other. What make us different is not necessarily the songs we sing or the programs we offer, but primarily it is our commitment to serving the people of God

Encourage people unceasingly.
We want you to know that God is not mad at you. He is “mad about you”! He is on your side! No matter what you’re going through, you are going to make it! Not a day goes by where this ministry does not pray for you. Not a day goes by where we are not available to encourage you, build you up and help you reach the “finish line” of God’s perfect will. We are committed to the vision and destiny God has for your life.

Love people unconditionally.
Jesus was common among people and has no respect of persons. When so called Christians was about to stone the woman, Jesus had compassion on her. Rather than judging her, Jesus forgave her sins. Love is what caused God to die for the whole world. It is this unconditional love we exemplify here at United Kingdom. No matter who you are or what you’ve done, you are loved! We hope you experience that here.

Teach people uncompromisingly.
As we teach the unchanging truths of God’s Word, and you follow the principles and promises of scripture, you will receive the power to be changed forever! The Bible will mature you in your walk with God, equip you to fulfill God’s purpose and empower you to experience victory in every area of your life

What is water baptism ... ?

Water baptism is a symbolic burial, by which the new Christian publicly declares they have died, and are now beginning a new life, in Christ.

Baptize is the English form of a Greek word which means to immerse: to place something into something else.

In Christian water baptism, the believer is put completely under water, then immediately raised out of the water.

Water baptism is a statement of faith: my old life is behind me -- I am a new person, with a new life.

Water baptism is a sign of repentance -- repentance means change -- a change so drastic that the old person is "buried."

It does not make you acceptable to God. As a work of righteousness, trying to obtain a good standing with God, it is worthless.

Water baptism is a way of giving testimony to what has happened inwardly, and a clear commitment to turn from the old life.

Should you be baptized in water? Yes, if you understand clearly what you are doing, and sincerely mean what baptism signifies.

Otherwise, you should not be baptized in water, because it will do you no good whatsoever. Water baptism could even harm you by giving you false hope.
